As one who is interested in user experiences, I was glad to see this discussion along with research as backup for debunking the 3 Click Rule. The 3 Click Rule assumes that users on web site will not click more than 3 times, in searching for information. But it can be as many as 25 clicks. As usual I don’t think there are any hard and fast rules, but I like Matt Lingard’s list of suggestions to make web pages reflective of content is highly relevant.
